Ron Laing is a photographer who blends his art with his writing. He has photographed people
and places throughout North America, Europe, and Africa. In 1992 he was awarded an Associate
Fellowship Degree by the Photographic Society of America for his initiatives to New England camera
clubs, for his exhibition record, and for his effective judging, teaching, and services for New England
photographers. He’s received many awards for his photographs, including six Gold Medals in world
competitions and was listed in the Society’s Who’s Who in Photography in North America. He taught
photography for 12 years at Middlesex Community College in Bedford, Massachusetts. He is a
showman in presenting fast-moving color photographic shows that have delighted audiences across the
country. He writes about, and photographs, what he enjoys most, travel, people and his native
New England. He lives with his wife in Maine. |
